Information you give us
Contact details: your name, work email and brand website when you book a call, request a free ad teardown or claim a free trial edit.
Brand and project details: product descriptions, product links, target audience, services needed, ad volume, platforms, languages, reference ads and any notes you add.
Creative materials: footage, product photos, scripts, brand assets and ad links you send us.
Billing details: information needed to invoice and receive payment. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Communications: emails and messages you exchange with us.
Information collected automatically
Usage data: pages viewed, time on site, referring pages, device type, browser and approximate location (country or city level), collected through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use your information
To respond to enquiries and prepare for calls you book.
To deliver free teardowns, trial edits and paid services.
To send invoices, process payments and keep business records.
To improve our website, services and marketing.
To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the steps needed to enter or perform a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Your creative materials
Footage and assets you send are used only to create your ads. We will not use your materials, finished ads or results in our portfolio, case studies or marketing without your written permission.
4. AI tools
Some services use third-party AI tools to generate or edit content. When we do, we share only the materials needed for that task, and we choose tools whose terms do not allow them to claim ownership of your content.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, under confidentiality and data protection obligations:
Website hosting and form processing
Scheduling and calendar tools
Email and file storage
Payment processors (such as Wise and card processors)
Analytics and advertising tools, where you have allowed them
AI generation and editing tools, for AI video projects
Contractors on our team who work on your project
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or to a successor if our business is sold or merged.
6. International transfers
Our team and service providers work in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.
7. How long we keep information
Enquiries and leads (calls, teardowns, trial edits that don't become projects): up to 12 months after our last contact.
Client project files and footage: for the length of our engagement plus up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Invoices and billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email hello@convertastudio.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and secure file sharing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and notify active clients of significant changes by email.
